The United Patriotic League Of Upright Citizens (TUPLUC) envisions a Nigeria where accountability, transparency, and good governance are the foundations of leadership, promoting sustainable development and equitable opportunities for all citizens, especially TUPLUC members. Our mission is to foster these principles in Nigeria by empowering citizens, advocating for systemic reforms, and ensuring leaders adhere to ethical standards and democratic values.

Our goals include enhancing public awareness and engagement in the democratic process, promoting ethical leadership, supporting policies that ensure transparency and accountability, and building a coalition of citizens and organizations committed to good governance. To achieve these, TUPLUC conducts campaigns, symposiums, workshops, and seminars to educate citizens on the importance of accountability, transparency, citizens’ rights, responsibilities, and good governance. We develop leadership training programs for young leaders and public officials, focusing on ethical standards and effective governance. Engaging with policymakers, we advocate for laws that enhance transparency and accountability in public administration. Additionally, we establish systems to monitor government activities and report instances of corruption, mismanagement, and abuse of power.

At the community level, TUPLUC promotes participatory governance and empowers local communities to hold their leaders accountable. We collaborate with national and international organizations to share best practices and resources for good governance. Through research, we inform public debate and policymaking on governance issues. We also provide legal assistance to members, whistleblowers, and victims of corruption and poor governance.

TUPLUC places a high priority on the welfare of its members, ensuring their well-being and helping them excel in their respective fields and careers, serving as examples of good citizenship.

Our efforts are supported by three pillars: advocacy for good governance, humanitarian services including medical, food banks, education outreaches, environmental outreaches, orphanage outreaches, skills acquisition, and entrepreneurial workshops, and membership benefits, including support during bereavements, health challenges, and special anniversaries, recognitions for sacrifices made for rebuilding Nigeria, business grants and loans, career support, scholarship grants, and special international trainings.
